St. Louis Rams rookie running back Todd Gurley has yet to make his NFL debut but that could all change Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
For starters, Gurley isn’t on the Rams injury report this week and that’s a first for him. The 10th overall draft pick out of Georgia was inactive the first two weeks of the season as he continues to complete his comeback from the torn ACL that he suffered back in November.
On Wednesday, Gurley said he would be ready to play Sunday against the Steelers if given the green light and the Rams could certainly use a boost to their running game should he ultimately suit up as they’ve only managed 143 total rushing yards in their first two games of the season.
