The Pittsburgh Steelers won their 2015 regular season home opener over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday afternoon at Heinz Field and the player snap counts from the game are now available.
Offensively, the only thing that really sticks out is the fact that the Steelers got running back Jordan Todman into the game before Dri Archer. Archer was limited to just kickoffs Sunday. Additionally, fullbacks Will Johnson and Roosevelt Nix also weren’t needed much against the 49ers as the offense used quite a bit of 11 personnel in the game.
