Pittsburgh Steelers HC Mike Tomlin shed some insight as to what fans can expect in the team’s first preseason game against the Houston Texans in his press conference Wednesday, noting that several starters will not be playing.
Those starters include defensive stars T.J. Watt, Cam Heyward, Alex Highsmith, Minkah Fitzpatrick and newcomer Patrick Queen, as well as QB Russell Wilson and LG Isaac Seumalo, Nick Farabaugh of PennLive reports. Tomlin specifically noted some minor training camp injuries for Wilson, Fitzpatrick and Queen, Brooke Pryor of ESPN shared.
