Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth came out of the gates hot as a rookie in 2021.
He caught 60 passes and seven touchdowns in his first year in Pittsburgh with Ben Roethlisberger as his quarterback. Over the last two seasons, though, he has combined for just four touchdown receptions playing with subpar quarterbacks.
Speaking to Nick Farabaugh of PennLive, Freiermuth opened up about how excited he is to work with Russell Wilson and Justin Fields going forward.
“I think they’ve dedicated themselves this offseason, especially in OTAs and especially this summertime, really putting their best foot forward,” Freiermuth said.
