The Steelers have added a veteran tackle after losing top backup Jerald Hawkins to a torn quad in practice last week.
They signed former New Orleans Saints tackle Bryce Harris, according to his agent, Derrick Fox.
Harris, 29, had three stints with the Saints, most recently for five weeks last season. Since he signed with Atlanta as an undrafted rookie from Fresno State in 2012, Harris has been on the rosters of six NFL teams before signing with the Steelers, including two turns with Atlanta and three with New Orleans.
He has played in 39 games with four career starts.
