The Pittsburgh Steelers signed S Trenton Thompson and CB Isaiah Dunn, the team announced today. In corresponding moves, the team waived/injured RB Alfonzo Graham and placed CB Cory Trice Jr. on the reserve/injured list.
Thompson played his college football at San Diego State before signing with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2022. He played 12 special teams snaps in New York’s Week 12 loss to the Dallas Cowboys last year, but the 6’1, 196-pound safety was waived last week.
At San Diego State, he made All-Mountain West First Team in 2021 and was also a team captain.
