The Pittsburgh Steelers continue to sign players to Reserve/Future contracts to help build up their offseason 90-man roster. On Thursday safety John Battle became the most recent player signed to a Reserve/Future contract.
Battle, who measured in at the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine at 6004, 201-pounds, entered the NFL originally in 2019 with the New York Jets as a signed undrafted free agent out of LSU. The Jets waived battle in the middle of June and he ultimately landed on the offseason roster of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in August.
