The Steelers have found their replacement for Karlos Williams, signing Dreamius Smith to the practice squad on Monday. Smith will take Williams’ spot on the practice squad after Williams was suspended for the remainder of the 2016 season for substance.
A former West Virginia running back, Smith had a chance to make the Chargers’ 53-man roster this past August but suffered an undisclosed injury during a preseason game. He was waived shortly thereafter with an injury designation.
The Steelers are looking to keep their winning streak going against the Giants next Sunday!
