The Steelers cut their roster down to 53 players on Tuesday, and with that came several other moves to beef up the practice squad for eventual call-ups when the time calls for it.
Of those signings was running back Boston Scott, who spent 2018-23 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He signed with the Los Angeles Rams this past offseason, but was let go in their wave of cuts.
Scott didn’t play in 2018, but became part of the Eagles’ running back rotation in 2019, rushing for five scores on 61 carries. His biggest season came in 2021 where he scored seven touchdowns on the ground and averaged 4.
