The Steelers signed fourth-round pick Doran Grant and sixth-round pick Anthony Chickillo to entry-level contracts. Grant, a cornerback, started 30 of 54 games at Ohio State, where he posted 146 tackles and nine interceptions. He was first-team all-Big Ten last season for the national champion Buckeyes.
Chickillo, a linebacker, started 47 of 50 games at Miami, where he posted 170 tackles, 15 ½ sacks and 5 fumble recoveries.
The Steelers now have three of their top eight draft picks under contract. L.T. Walton, another sixth-round pick, signed last week. All of the Steelers draft picks participated in rookie minicamp.
