After a tumultuous last week, offensive tackle Dylan Cook is back with the Steelers. Per a team announcement, Pittsburgh has signed Cook to the practice squad.
Cook spent 2023 on the Steelers’ 53-man roster but was placed on injured reserve ahead of the 2024 season. He returned to practice in mid-October and was activated on Oct. 30, just to be released the next day.
However, Cook has since cleared waivers and returned to Pittsburgh, this time on the practice squad instead of the 53-man roster.
A former quarterback turned right tackle in college, Cook has shown promise as a talented-yet-raw O-lineman during his time with the Steelers.
