Steelers sign Kam Canaday and Jordan Dangerfield to one-year contract extensions

The Pittsburgh Steelers continue to chip away at their long list of impending free agents for 2019, confirming they have re-signed Kameron Canaday and Jordan Dangerfield to one-year contract extensions on Monday.

Both players were set to be exclusive rights free agents this offseason and would not have been able to negotiate with any other team apart from the Steelers during free agency. Canaday will have signed a contract worth $720,000 in 2019, while Dangerfield will have received a deal worth $645,000. Neither contract will include a signing bonus and there will be no dead money associated with their release if they do not make the opening day roster.
