The Pittsburgh Steelers didn’t wait until the new league year to make a small move at the quarterback position. Pittsburgh has signed former Miami Dolphins quarterback Skylar Thompson to a Reserve/Future contract, per his agents at SportsTrust Advisors.
Thompson was drafted by Miami in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Kansas State. He started a playoff game for the Dolphins that season in a losing effort to the Buffalo Bills.
