Back in 2011, prior to the 2011 supplemental draft, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin asked a young Terrelle Pryor a question that any football player growing up in Pennsylvania would dream to be asked.
“Do you want to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers?”
After some discussion with the Steelers coach, Pryor concluded that he may be better off not playing near his hometown, where he would have a lot of distractions.
I think that was a pretty mature decision made by the young player. With his career possibly on life support though, I’m sure Pryor would love to suit up for the black and gold now.
