Steelers should have taken Chase Winovich, not Diontae Johnson

When the 66th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft rolled around, I was ecstatic. Chase Winovich was the 25th player on my big board. He was a player the Steelers had expressed interest in and I was cautiously optimistic that he would be the first of the Steelers’ 3rd round picks.

However, Pittsburgh chose to go in a completely different direction.
