With the Steelers cutting Tajh Boyd, I unfortunately must admit that I was wrong when I wrote he would beat out Landry Jones for the #3 QB spot.
Boyd really can’t blame anyone but himself with all of his fumbled snaps in camp. I’m sure if he had that under control and really impressed early on he would’ve given himself a chance.
However, by the time the Hall of Fame game rolled around I think the Steelers had pretty much already decided that Landry Jones has the job for better or worse. During the time of this writing, I’m honestly not sure it even matters what Landry does in the next 2 preseason games.
