Le’Veon Bell led all AFC rushers with 1,361 yards in 2014 and earned All-Pro honors. As a team, the Steelers improved from 27th in the NFL in rushing to 16th.
There was a lot to like about the running game last season, but the feeling around training camp this summer is there is much room for improvement.
“It’s been a focal point,” left tackle Kelvin Beachum said. “It’s been something we’ve been harping on because we have to do a better job running the ball. Not just running the ball, but running the ball more efficiently.”
The Steelers are in much better position to do that this season.
