When the 2015 NFL schedules were first released, Steelers fans glimpsed the post-bye week slate with understandable apprehension, as five of Pittsburgh’s last six opponents were 2014 playoff teams. Traveling to play Seattle in the loudest place on earth, followed by three divisional road dates over the season’s final four weeks, didn’t exactly seem desirable for a Steelers team hoping to win a second consecutive AFC North title.
Fast forward to Week 11, as Pittsburgh enjoys the bye week much later in the season than they are accustomed to, and suddenly the remaining six games for Pittsburgh don’t seem as daunting as they did in Week 1.
