Steelers Say Golson’s Injury History May Compel Team To Draft CB

Two years. Zero games. It’s been a rough NFL career for 2015 second round pick Senquez Golson, who has yet to even take the field for a preseason game. His rookie year was cut short because of a labrum tear in his shoulder. A starting gig in camp quickly ended after suffering a Lisfranc injury in practice.

That amount of time without any sort of return on investment is making the Pittsburgh Steelers think about drafting another QB, per Dale Lolley, who has this line from GM Kevin Colbert.

Colbert said the two injuries that Senquez Golson has suffered are a factor, especially foot injury.
