The fumble recovery that Pittsburgh Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick returned for a touchdown a week ago Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams wound up costing him some money.
According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, Fitzpatrick was fined $10,527 by the NFL for taunting players on the Rams by waiving bye-bye during his 43-yard fumble return for a touchdown with 1:44 left in the second quarter of the Week 10 game at Heinz Field. Fitzpatrick wasn’t flagged for taunting on that play, however.
