It might have taken a week longer than most anticipated, but rookie OT Troy Fautanu’s NFL debut was worth the wait.
In a 13-6 win over the Denver Broncos, Fautanu didn’t allow a single pressure on 29 pass snaps. We didn’t hear much chatter about him during the game, which is generally a great sign for an offensive lineman.
Fautanu suffered a sprained MCL in the black and gold’s preseason opener against the Houston Texans. Although he dressed in their week one victory over the Atlanta Falcons, unsurprisingly he didn’t see the field.
