Earlier Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers announced its initial undrafted free agency class, signing seven players to contracts. A relatively light class that leaves three open slots on its 90-man roster. Perhaps those names could eventually be added by rookie minicamp tryout players. There will be many invites sent out to the team’s rookie minicamp during Mother Day’s weekend when the Steelers hold their three days of practice. The team will hold their minicamp May 12th through the 14th where we’ll get our first look at this impressive Steelers’ class.
Notable ex-Steelers to make the team via a tryout include LB Terence Garvin and QB Duck Hodges.
