The Pittsburgh Steelers made a roster move on Thursday, releasing wide receiver Scotty Miller per a team announcement.
This season, Miller has recorded five catches for 69 yards on nine targets. With George Pickens, Van Jefferson, Calvin Austin III, Ben Skowronek, and Mike Williams all healthy for the Steelers, Miller was an inactive in Week 18 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The expectation is that the Steelers released Miller to make room on the 53-man roster for offensive tackle Calvin Anderson. Anderson, currently on injured reserve but designated to return, returned to practice on Tuesday.
