The Pittsburgh Steelers made a handful of roster moves on Saturday ahead of their Week 10 matchup with the Washington Commanders. The most notable of which was the release of safety Terrell Edmunds. This is likely due to the fact that Cam Sutton has returned from suspension, and will likely play the dime-linebacker role that Edmunds had been playing, as well as likely taking over the majority of nickel cornerback reps. Edmunds was the team’s first-round pick in 2017, and really hit his stride in the 2020 and 2021 seasons before signing with the Philadelphia Eagles ahead of the 2023 season.
