The Steelers followed their usual path as free agency opened Wednesday.
They did nothing.
Oh, they officially released three veterans: Safeties Robert Golden and Mike Mitchell and cornerback William Gay. But they added no one. During the two full days before this that negotiations were permitted with impending free agents, not one scrap of news surfaced that involved the Steelers talking to another player. Other teams pursued them as if it were the Oklahoma Land Rush.
Yinzers acting like we really get jiggy in FA. Where y’all been this last decade? ud83dude02

No one who follows the Steelers should be surprised.
