The Steelers have re-signed running back Fitzgerald Toussaint to a one-year contract, according to his agent.
Toussaint has played four seasons in the NFL, the past three with the Steelers. Toussaint began last season on the practice squad, but he was elevated to the 53-man roster late in the season.
In three seasons with the Steelers, Toussaint has served as a third-string running back and special-teams player. His biggest impact came in the 2015 playoffs, when he rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown in games against the Bengals and Broncos.
