The Pittsburgh Steelers will travel to Detroit and face the Lions on Saturday to close out the preseason. After two weeks of underwhelming offensive play, the Steelers could use a solid showing from both Russell Wilson and Justin Fields to give them something to build off of and carry over into their Week 1 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons.
Speaking to the media, Wilson himself confirmed that he and the starters will be playing against the Lions.
“Yeah we’re playing,” Wilson said. “I’m excited to get back on the field. Last week was great to be out there for the first time with the pads on.
