Steelers QB Russell Wilson opens up after returning from calf injury

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson took his first reps of training camp on Tuesday when the Steelers put the pads on for the first time of the 2024 season.

Wilson had missed the first four practices with a calf injury he sustained pushing a sled while training. He discussed his calf today, and said he feels good after his first day of practice.

“I feel good,” Wilson said. “I’m getting better every day. The training staff is doing a tremendous job, and we’re working really hard every morning. It’s just good to be back out here again with the guys, putting the helmet on and really getting to work today.
