Steelers QB Russell Wilson labeled as cut candidate

The Pittsburgh Steelers signed quarterback Russell Wilson for next to nothing at the beginning of free agency in March.

The former Broncos and Seahawks quarterback is being paid $80 million over the next two seasons by Denver, and is scheduled to make just over $1.2 million from the Steelers in 2024.

Despite Pittsburgh getting a massive upgrade at quarterback at a serious bargain, Pro Football Network tabbed the Super Bowl champion as a training camp cut candidate.
