The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced they’ve placed QB Mason Rudolph on injured reserve after suffering a left shoulder injury in their Week 16 loss to the New York Jets. Center/guard JC Hassenauer was promoted in a corresponding move.

Rudolph came in relief of Devlin Hodges Sunday, performing well and throwing the only touchdown pass of the day, connecting with Diontae Johnson right before the half to make it a 10-10 game going into the break.
