It was a rough start to the day for the Steelers, who placed cornerback Grayland Arnold on injured reserve on Thursday per a team announcement. Similarly to nose tackle Breiden Fehoko’s recent situation, the timing of the roster move means Arnold is out of the season unless he is removed from IR with a settlement.
Arnold left practice on a cart yesterday after injuring his calf on a play.
In a corresponding move, the Steelers signed cornerback Kiondre Thomas.
