This seems like a good time to remind everyone reading this who roots for the Pittsburgh Steelers to remember that Organized Team Activities (OTAs) are completely voluntary. If a player is under contract, they do not have to show up and practice. In other words, if a player takes a day off, the team cannot fine them any amount of money considering the workouts are not mandatory.
With that said, several veterans, including Ben Roethlisberger (as seen in the image below), took the final day of Week 2 of OTAs off. But there is one veteran who just can’t stay away, and that would defensive captain Cameron Heyward.
