The Pittsburgh Steelers did their very best to give their offensive line a much needed overhaul over the offseason.
They released center Mason Cole and drafted Zach Frazier in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft to give themselves a new center of the future that they could rely on. Ahead of that, though, they took a tackle in the first round for the second consecutive yea, drafting Troy Fautanu out of Washington.
Fautanu suffered a knee injury in the team’s preseason opener against the Houston Texans, but the team didn’t hesitate and made it known he would be the starting right tackle when healthy.
