Steelers OT Broderick Jones on getting benched vs Broncos: ‘You f—k up, you get pulled’

Pittsburgh Steelers second-year tackle Broderick Jones had his worst game as a pro in Week 2 against the Broncos.

He had three penalties on one drive, including a holding call that negated a 51 yard pass from Justin Fields to George Pickens. Those penalties led to him being benched after the Steelers were rotating he and rookie Troy Fautanu at right tackle.

Despite the benching, the Georgia product hasn’t loss confidence and is more than aware of how life in the NFL goes.

“Sh*t, I played bad,” Jones said. “That’s all it is at the end of the day.
