Steelers OLB Alex Highsmith was a full participant Thursday, while one rookie WR is back on the injury report after making his NFL debut in Week 6

The Pittsburgh Steelers have now held their second practice of the week ahead of Week 7’s Sunday Night Football matchup. While most of the attention is on the quarterbacks and the looming decision between Russell Wilson or Justin Fields as the starter, there are plenty of other questions up in the air on the injury front. Let’s take a look at the Steelers’ injury report and updates from Thursday’s practice.

Steelers injury report: Week 7 (Wednesday)

DNP: RB/KR Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle), C Zach Frazier (ankle), OLB Nick Herbig (hamstring)

Limited: S Damontae Kazee (ankle), WR Roman Wilson (hamstring)

Full: TE MyCole Pruitt (knee), RB Najee Harris (ribs), OLB Alex Highsmith (groin)

Rest: DT Cam Heyward

There’s some good news on Thursday’s injury report, as several players were upgraded in their participation from Wednesday, including edge rusher Alex Highsmith, who has missed each of the past three games with a groin injury, as well as safety Damontae Kazee (ankle) and running back Najee Harris (ribs).
