Before Randy Fichtner worked in the NFL, he was the offensive coordinator at the University of Memphis. It was there where he called plays for the likes of DeAngelo Williams, and others, which propelled his career into the professional ranks.
When Memphis was having their annual Pro Day, Fitchtner was back at his old stomping grounds checking out the talent.
Offensive coordinators from the Pittsburgh Steelers, Carolina Panthers and Detroit Lions joined receivers coaches from the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants for Memphis’ pro day.
