The Pittsburgh Steelers have looked sloppy through two preseason games.
Neither Russell Wilson nor Justin Fields have led a drive that ended with a touchdown, and cries of concern have already begun to hit the Steel City.
Offensive coordinator Arthur Smith spoke to the media on Tuesday, where the undertones were that of a man who isn’t worried.
“Preseason can distort reality,” Smith said. “Good or bad. We’ve all seen it. And that’s not making excuses, but things happen in football. No matter how good you think your camp has been with these practices, when you get out there with these dress rehearsals.
