It’s become an eventful week in Pittsburgh — a Stanley Cup parade, the U.S. Open, visits by two presumptive presidential nominees and, of course, Steelers minicamp.
It became an even more notable time for Mike Tomlin when Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Party’s presumptive nominee for president, visited his home for a luncheon fundraiser Tuesday after her appearance on the South Side.
Or at least it was notable for Kiya Tomlin and their three children. The Steelers coach remained at the team facility coaching his team while Mrs. Clinton paid her visit to his home.
“My wife was all smiles and really that’s ultimately what’s most important,” the coach said after practice Wednesday.
