INDIANAPOLIS — Terry Bradshaw and Lynn Swann played together for eight seasons and connected for 49 touchdown passes. With three more this season, Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown will pass them in the Steelers record book.
Roethlisberger and Brown connected for three touchdowns Thursday night their 45th, 46th and 47th touchdown hook-ups in six-plus seasons together. Bradshaw threw 49 touchdown passes to Swann.
When Roethlisberger threw a 22-yard touchdown to Brown in the fourth quarter, it marked the first time in his career that he scored three touchdowns in a game.
His second touchdown gave him sole possession of fourth place on the team’s list for most touchdown catches.
