In the 83-year history of their proud Super Bowl-winning franchise, the Steelers have had remarkable consistency and longevity in critical areas of their team.
Perhaps nowhere has that been more apparent than with their head coaches, as only three men — Chuck Noll, Bill Cowher and Mike Tomlin — have been in charge of the team in the past 56 years. That each has won a Super Bowl and appeared in at least one other only adds to the lore of the longevity.
Even at center, the Steelers have had four players man the position for nearly most of the past 51 years — Ray Mansfield, Mike Webster, Dermontti Dawson and Maurkice Pouncey.
