The Pittsburgh Steelers’ cornerback room has a ton of potential, but lacks one thing- experience.
Outside of Donte Jackson, the likes of Joey Porter Jr, Beanie Bishop, Darius Rus, and Cory Trice are all either second-year players or rookies. Now, for Porter, that’s not an issue, as he has already shown superstar potential. But for the other unproven talent, the Steelers may be asking them to play a little above their abilities should they not be quite ready for significant roles.
That may be the exact reason why Marcus Mosher of The 33rd Team labeled the Steelers as the best landing spot for free agent cornerback Adoree Jackson.
