The Pittsburgh Steelers have officially announced local media “King” — Rob King — as the new Play-By-Play voice for audio broadcasts ahead of the 2024 season. King will work alongside Color Analyst Craig Wolfley on the call, filling the very big shoes left behind by local legend Bill Hillgrove.
King has worked in a variety of roles across the Pittsburgh sports media landscape over the past 25 years, including work in pre- and post-game shows for both the Penguins and the Pirates. He officially joined the Steelers’ pre-game and post-game broadcast team in 2014, now taking on his new position.
