The Steelers filled their remaining open roster spot and elevated two practice squad players ahead of Sunday night’s matchup against the New York Jets. Per a team announcement, Pittsburgh signed outside linebacker Ade Ogundeji from the practice squad to the 53-man roster, and elevated running back Jonathan Ward and wide receiver Brandon Johnson from the practice squad.
Ogundeji has had a busy past few weeks. He was signed to the Steelers’ roster ahead of last week’s game against the Raiders, waived afterwards, and then signed back to the practice squad. Now he finds himself back on the 53-man roster.
