Just when you think this week can’t get any worse for the Steelers, it does. Star edge rusher T.J. Watt is in concussion protocol after experiencing symptoms yesterday morning. Watt must be cleared by the independent neurologist in order to be cleared to play next Saturday against the Indianapolis Colts.
Watt took a knee to the head on the first play from scrimmage while running into the backfield. Patriots running back Ezekiel Elliott’s knee caught Watt on the way down, which took Watt out of the game and he returned wearing a dark visor.
