After recording 13 sacks last season and tying a CFL record by recovering eight fumbles, new Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker Shawn Lemon is now looking forward to showing that he can make his mark in the NFL. In a recent interview with Mike Prisuta of steelers.com, Lemon, who played his college football at nearby Akron, revealed his football mindset.
“Sack the quarterback. I take a lot of pride in my pass rush” Lemon said.
The former undrafted free agent was a Grey Cup champion last season with the Calgary Stampeders and that’s where he had a teammate who made a big impression on him.
