The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Atlanta Falcons 18-10 off the strength of their defense forcing three turnovers and Chris Boswell kicking a franchise-record six field goals, three of which were from 50+ yards.
In light of his historic day, the Steelers’ tremendous kicker was named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week. This is the third time Boswell has been named Special Teams Player of the Week. The first of which came in Week 6 of 2015, and the second came in Week 13 of 2017. Boswell became the first kicker in history to have two games in which he made five 40+ yard field goals.
