Steelers juggle preseason roster by signing a tight end and linebacker heading into Chiefs game

The NFL preseason roster is a constantly changing thing. There are 90 players, or in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ case 91, who are hoping to prove enough to just get a shot at making the cut for the 53-man roster.

On Thursday, two days before the Week 2 Preseason game vs. the Kansas City Chiefs at Heinz Field, the Steelers signed two and released two.

The Steelers have parted ways with linebacker JT Jones and cornerback Jermaine Ponder. In their place are linebacker Christian Kuntz and tight end Micky Crum.
