Former Pitt cornerback Marquis Williams has received an invite to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ rookie minicamp, per Brian Batko of Pittsburgh Sports Now. The Steelers rookie minicamp will take place from May 10-12 at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex in the south side of Pittsburgh.
Having selected just one defensive back amid a huge need in the secondary opposite Joey Porter with the selection of Ryan Watts (Texas), they’re still in need of some depth.
As a sixth-year player out of Pitt with a small frame at just 5’9 and 180 pounds, Williams went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft.
