The Pittsburgh Steelers will play their Week 6 game against the Miami Dolphins on the road this coming Sunday and on Wednesday their first injury report ahead of that game shows that several players sat out practice.
Not practicing Wednesday were defensive end Cameron Heyward (hamstring) safety Shamarko Thomas (groin), center/guard Cody Wallace (knee), linebacker Ryan Shazier (knee), tackle Marcus Gilbert (ankle), wide receiver Markus Wheaton (shoulder) and wide receiver Sammie Coates (finger).
Heyward and Thomas have already been ruled out for Sunday and it looks like Shazier, Wallace and Gilbert are headed for the out designation once again as well.
