The Pittsburgh Steelers depth chart of edge rushers is thin. Pittsburgh currently has All-Pro T.J. Watt and rising star Alex Highsmith coming off the edge, and 2023 fourth-round pick Nick Herbig as the preliminary backup. However, Pittsburgh could be looking to bring in an old friend to play a reserve role.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Steelers have had talks with edge rusher Bud Dupree about a reunion.
Dupree just visited the Los Angeles Chargers, and has been in communication with the Steelers and Falcons.
